October 14- 31, 2010

Football, fall festivals, Halloween....who doesn't love fall?

Kyle and his football friend at ECU's "Call to Port"

Broken mallot makes for a great drumming experience for Kyle.

End of game....fun but also a bit tiring for Kyle, especially when there is overtime!

Checking out the field with daddy

What a game!

Getting our jack o' lantern bags ready

Trying on his firefighter costume for Halloween.

Putting out "fires" with the firefighter pack from Debbie

Mommy is on fire!

NC State Fair....what a great time we had! Kyle loved going on rides and watching others go on rides. He pointed to all the "scary" rides and said he wanted to ride them. Whoo hoo! I have a future rider with me!

Kyle was very excited to see everything from high up on the ferris wheel.

Enjoying just one fair treat...chocolate dipped ice cream.

Halloween Trail at Durant Park. This was our third year doing this and have enjoyed making this a family tradition. My computer crashed around this time last year and I lost pictures from last year's Halloween Trail but here is the link for the year before.

Craft time with daddy and mommy

Seeing if his "insect" will fit on the web.
Bean bag toss

Watching one of the skits along the trail.

Afternoon/night football game means staying up way past bedtime....this leads to a chance of crankiness but it's nothing that a sheet of stickers can't solve!

Pumpkin carving time

Helping mommy paint the flames for my fire (to his firefighter) costume

Halloween cookies!

Time for frosting...

...and sprinkles!

Halloween celebration at work - listening to Ms. Debbie read Halloween stories

Kyle and the kiddos at work are ready for trick or treating

Ready for the Halloween Spooktacular at the Factory

Trying to make the loudest sound possible

"Please stop talking and give me some candy......PLEASE!"

Fall Festival at the neighborhood church
Fishing for treats

Clothespin drop

Bounce house fun

Halloween night...ready for some trick or treating!

What a stash! Kyle said to me, "I am going to save some of my candy and share it with Granny, Uncle Jacob, Aunt Sara, Keely, and Jordan when they get here." They will be here for Thanksgiving....think there will be any left???

Enjoying his chosen treat, a Twix bar
