September 13 - October 13, 2010

Fall, where are you? It says you have arrived on my calendar but, minus a day or two, I have yet to feel the cool days that autumn brings. Sigh, soon it will be here, right? In the meantime we have continued to have fun with a last weekend of swimming, new things being learned, fun times with Opa, and fall activities like hay rides and picking pumpkins.......in shorts and flip flops.

Working with letter Bb....using letter tiles to spell Bb words

Counting days on the calendar

Placing days of the week in order

Circling the object in each row that doesn't belong

Kyle has mastered the use of the computer mouse and enjoys many games now.

Painting letter Bb words with watercolor paints

Cutting out green strips for his tree

Making our first snickerdoodles of the season

A new way to play with the tunnel

Enjoying the remote controlled airplane show

Another beautiful day for a bike ride

Last weekend at the pool

Opa arrived!

Making their favorite breakfast together...blueberry pancakes

Pretty happy with how they came out

Playing trains with Opa

Exploring the Fall sensory tub

Helping Daddy and Opa pack for their trip to Germany?

A beautiful afternoon after days and days of rain

Kyle was told to keep his feet on the patio because it was so muddy in the yard. He wanted to collect leaves so this was how he did what he was told and still got the leaves he collected.

Play doh fun

First day of soccer

Enjoying a "Wetland Wonders" walk, story, and puppet show

Having fun with Opa at Marbles Kids Museum

Loving the huge bouncy slides at the KidsFest

Painting a wooden jack o' lantern mask...intentional with painting each section the "right color" instead of a mixture of any and all paint colors

Fun day at Hill Ridge Farms

So many pumpkins to choose from...

I'll take this one!

So happy to hang out with Uncle John

Hay Fight!

Guess who started it!
