November 26 - December 26

Happy Boxing Day, day after Christmas, and Kyle's 8 month birthday! What a fun time we had celebrating Kyle's first Christmas. We had to open his gifts in two shifts because he needed a nap after just a few unwrappings! Guess all of the excitement wore him out. Our little guy is all over the place...he began crawling around 6 1/2 months and hasn't slowed down a bit! Shortly after that he began pulling up to standing in his crib, then his pack n' play, and now, everything he can reach. What a fun time we have chasing him around and watching him discover new things with his new skills. We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!

Thanks for my caterpillar, Uncle Mike and Aunt Louise. I love chasing it across the room!

Hmm....gold, shiny...what shall I do with this???

What's in here?

Wow, this ribbon is long!

Mmm, tasty...thanks for my DVD, granny!

Daddy gave me this great ride on toy...I can't quite work it myself yet but I LOVE being pushed around the room on it. Aunt Ingrid and Uncle Ryan got me a lion one but Daddy hasn't put it together yet. One for upstairs and one for downstairs....yay!!!
What does this thing do?

Uncle Jim and Aunt Barb sent me this wooden airplane when I was smaller...I am finally big enough to play with it!

Ooooh....so much wrapping paper!

So that's where Mommy put all those bows I was chewing on.

Fun times with my new toy!

Wow, big people food....this little bagel is really good!

Mommy and some my friends' mommies went out for an evening without us....think they missed us???

Mmmm...Daddy made waffles for Mommy and me...it was my first taste ever...YUMMY!

Hey Dawn, I LOVE this outfit you got me....I haven't quite figured out how my feet always turn into horses when I wear it though...

Playing with a new toy at my friend's house

Matthew and I love looking out the window at my house. Mommy and Daddy changed the tv room into a playroom just for my friends and me!

I can finally fit into the outfit from Aunt Elke, Uncle Eduard, Markus, and Christiane in Germany! Don't I look cute?

Mommy and Daddy took me for a walk around the neighborhood. When it got cold out they put this jacket on me and pulled the hood over my head. Well, I don't like anything being on my head so I solved this problem by holding the hood up for the rest of the walk home....when we got home, they still didn't take my jacket off so I had to hold the hood up even longer. Whew, my arms were tired!

Mommy turned 28 on December 6! We went out to lunch to celebrate with 8 of our mommy and baby friends. All of the mommies behaved while we were at lunch....us babies were relieved!

My buddy Alex came over to play one morning....his parents are Steelers fans....we had a good time watching the Jaguars and Steelers football game together and they weren't mad at Mommy and Daddy when the Jaguars beat them.

I finally let Mommy take some pictures of my 2 teeth.

Yeah, I know it's a mess, but it is so much fun that way!

Mommy and all of the other mommies had a wine tasting night at Peyton's mommy's house....how did Peyton sleep with all of those mommies there?!?!?

I met Santa Claus for the first time at Daddy's work party. He didn't scare me....

Do I still look like my Daddy?!?!

Look at me...I can stand up now!

I LOVE crawling around the house with these in my mouth!

November 1 - 25

I can't believe that it has almost been a month since I last posted!! It sure has been a busy November. Karl, Kyle, and I drove to Florida and stayed in both Jacksonville and New Smyrna Beach from November 9 - 19. What a fun time we had with our family members and friends! Uncle John came to visit us in Raleigh just after we got back. I made my first ever Thanksgiving dinner (turkey included) and it came out pretty good! :) At the end of our Thanksgiving weekend we put up our Christmas decorations. Kyle first went for the fringes on the tree skirt and then, once lit, the actual tree itself. The first two pictures show Kyle putting the first ornament (Baby's 1st Christmas) in the tree!

Out to lunch...supporting my team!
Uncle John is already giving me style tips.

Who's cuter?!?!
Representing my team...thanks Aunt Ingrid!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Mom, I'll help with that laundry...
Whoa....too much for me to handle!
