Kyle met Santa just one time during the holiday season and asked him for a fire truck. Since then he has also asked for a girl baby doll (he had three from Granny that he had been taking care of lately but one of them, unfortunately, lost his head). He mentioned it to me again on December 23 and I reminded him that he only asked Santa for a fire truck and that it may not be possible for Santa to bring him a baby doll since it was so close to Christmas. He reminded me that Owo (his Elf on the Shelf) would be visiting Santa that night as he has done every night. In fact, he said, he wanted to write a letter to Santa for Owo to deliver. So, he asked me how to spell Baby and doll, wrote those and his name, as well as Santa on the outside of the letter. We then stuck it next to Owo and asked him to please give Santa the letter.

Christmas morning....Kyle noticed the baby doll in his stocking right away, as well as the fact that all the stockings had something in them.
